Lucy Frazer is an MP serving as Financial Secretary to the Treasury since 2021 and previously served as Solicitor General for England and Wales and Minister of State for Prisons. Lucy entered Parliament in 2015 representing South East Cambridgeshire. Lucy currently holds a majority of 11,500.
Since entering Parliament Lucy has gone on to hold various Ministerial roles and is now the in her Majesty’s Treasury – advising day to day on tax policy for the UK. Helping the United Kingdom to strengthen our post pandemic economic recovery.
Prior to becoming an MP, she practised as a commercial barrister and was appointed as QC (Queens Council) in 2013 at the age of just 40.
Outside of politics, Lucy went to Newnham College at Cambridge University and studied Law, where she met her husband David, and they now have two children growing up locally within Cambridgeshire.
